LA's Best After School Enrichment Program
The LA’s BEST Afterschool Enrichment Program is designed to offer educational services in support of academic assistance, academic enrichment, and recreation/sports for students in K-5th in our elementary school. Our program is strongly committed to youth development principles and the implied instructional practices that target how children learn best. LA’s BEST offers homework assistance, educational enrichment, recreational enrichment, and the provision of a nutritious snack. With these aspects as a foundation, staff members can explore children’s interests and unique needs. Our general approach is to provide high quality programs such as: Homework Assistance, Literacy, Math, Science, Visual and Performing Arts, Sports, City Wide Events, BEST FIT, Field Trips, and MUCH MORE!

Beyond The Bell- Youth Services
In addition to our LA's BEST Program, Beyond the Bell offers a Youth Services Program. The program is open Monday through Friday from dismissal time to 6:00 P.M. for students in Grades 2nd – 5th only. NO Kindergarten or First Grade students are allowed on the after school playground. All students must have submitted the Parent/Guardian Agreement for Participation in the After School Program before attending. Middle and Senior High School-age students are not permitted to use our after school playground.
